projects
projects i created and own.
how i started
originally from Bangued, Abra. in grades 7 to 9 i taught myself Lua and tried C# in Unity on the side, mostly by making games on Roblox, of them. maybe 1% were any good.
every public game on my roblox account. most are tiny tests and half finished ideas, 2020 alone was 87 of them.
honestly a lot of them were just to impress my friends. that was more ego than growth, i was so busy proving i could do something cool that i skipped understanding how it worked.
i kept making them anyway, good or bad. seeing how people reacted pushed me to build better games and write cleaner code, mostly out of fear of letting them down. they've had visits so far, plus on group games i helped with.
every visit across those games, counted by roblox. over half never got past 100, and only one ever passed 10K.
games in the groups i actually built in, Statical Productions and ROWA development. almost all of it is one game i only helped a bit on, so it's not really mine to flex.
the discord bot
in grade 9 i made a discord chatbot. it started on the Chai API, moved to OpenAI's GPT models, and later got a bridge from JavaScript to Python so it could draw pictures with Hugging Face models. it eventually turned into Avy.
it's moved house a few times. first Replit, back when it was a free online IDE that just ran your server (before it became an AI website maker 😒). then Glitch, full of fun little projects and the cutest UI, until it shut down. now it lives on Koyeb.
keeping it alive through all that is how i got good at JavaScript before post secondary, which helped a lot once SAIT taught us TypeScript and React.

high school
i graduated from Holy Trinity Academy as one of the top students in computer programming, and the one my classmates came to for help.
the class was taught in C++, so i used it to write a grad helper that paired each student with the staff member they picked for their stole, and counted the Veritas votes.
TODO: properly thank mr. crawford for teaching me C++
